Fire & EMS

The Devola Volunteer Fire Company provides fire and EMS services for residential, commercial, and light industrial structures as well as BLS and ALS medical services. The recently passed EMS levy will  extend paid EMS coverage into weekend daytime hours, ensuring that residents have access to consistent, reliable emergency medical care not just during the week, but when it’s needed most.

Devola Volunteer Fire Company provides paid EMS staffing Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Outside of those hours, we rely heavily on volunteers to respond to emergencies.

We provide service for two state highways, S.R. 60 and S.R. 821, and one interstate highway, I-77. We also have a low head dam on the Muskingum River.  We have a county wide mutual aid agreement with 17 other fire and EMS departments, which rely heavily on our ALS members.
